WHO: Individuals with HD, families and friends impacted by HD (including youth), health care providers, and anyone interested in learning more about Huntington disease.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Registration is required.

When the world’s Huntington disease experts come to your area, you simply have to come hear what they have to say about the latest in HD research and care. The Huntington Study Group’s annual event, this year named HSG 2017: Elevating HD, will be held in Denver, Nov. 2 to 4, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Convention Center. On the last day, Saturday, Nov. 4, HSG, the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Huntington Disease Society of America and the HDSA Centers of Excellence at the Colorado Neurological Institute and the University of Colorado, host HD Family Education Day to give families access to HD experts and their knowledge in a day-long event.

Registration for HD Family Education Day begins at 8:30 am Saturday, Nov. 4, with formal programming beginning at 10 a.m. Among the day’s sessions are a science update from HD Buzz editors Ed Wild and Jeff Carroll, a keynote speech about the importance of resilience by Jane Barton, an update on medical marijuana and HD by Benzi Kluger, an Ask the Expert panel, and a presentation about HDdennomore from Charles Sabine about the Vatican visit last spring.
