About Brett Kinsler

Brett Kinsler, DC has a broad background in healthcare, technology, and innovation which includes experience in organ and tissue recovery for transplant, clinical trials for both device and pharmaceuticals, clinical practice, entrepreneurialism, post-graduate teaching, EMS, and strategic advisory for hospitals, health systems, payers, collaboratives, federal and state governments. Brett has successfully written healthcare grants leading to hundreds of millions in awards, been a podcaster, blogger, content creator, and white paper author, most recently for the Department of Defense Health Management Systems. Brett also served as a consultant program manager during the formation of HSG’s myHDstory™ platform, and led the RFP process, vendor selection, and road mapping for the project.
He has a BA in psychology from University of Rochester, a master’s certificate in healthcare data analytics from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a doctorate in chiropractic (DC) from University of Bridgeport. He holds certifications as a Clinical Informaticist from Epic, a Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist from AHIMA, and Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Brett lives in Brighton with his wife, three kids, and two Maine Coons. He enjoys off-the-beaten-path travel, low-stakes neighborhood poker, hiking, and recently committed to trying 12 different hobbies for 2023. While open to suggestions, anyone who wants to try fencing, metal sculpture welding, or disc golf should let him know.
