Stephen grew up in the Tampa Bay area, attending USF for both undergraduate studies and medical school. Because of a strong personal connection, he knew that he wanted his career to contribute to clinical care and research in HD. Stephen found mentorship opportunities in medical school and residency. Following the completion of his fellowship, he was appointed Co-Director of the USF HD COE in 2021, where he has been working on expanding the multidisciplinary clinic, regional partnerships in FL, and clinical trial activity. He now lives in St. Petersburg with his wife.
