A Note from Emma

To our readers,

My dream job growing up was to have a position where I could make a difference in the lives of others. I take great pride in the opportunity to be a contributing writer for the HD Insights magazine and to share stories of resilience within the Huntington’s disease community. It is a privilege to meet such inspiring HD advocates with stories that have the power to make a real difference. I hope that you, our reader, enjoy these stories as much as I take pleasure in producing them.

Here are a few life lessons I have learned…

  1. Never let anything or anyone stop you from living your very best life.
  2. Obstacles are an opportunity to learn and grow.
  3. Cherish time with family and friends who will love and support you no matter what.
  4. You are your own worst enemy and your own best friend. Be kind to yourself.
  5. Make it a good day or not, the choice is yours.

I look forward to meeting you at this year’s Annual Meeting in Tampa, Florida!
